I wanted to unplug and be with my household. My oldest wasn’t capable of be part of us, so in a manner, the images on this collection, which I name “Unplugged,” aren’t full. We began our morning early after an evening in a cabin in entrance of Arbutus Pond within the Adirondack Park. The peace and serenity of the morning can, if you happen to crave it as a lot as I did that morning, make your eyes tear up a bit.
There wasn’t the rest—simply nature and water—silence, stillness. It was a phenomenal, unfiltered, undisturbed second in time.
