We’re proud to announce that Baal has efficiently accomplished a luxurious hospitality bespoke design mission for the esteemed One and Solely Za’abeel. It’s an honour to be a part of a mission that options some of the distinctive structural buildings on the planet. All through this mission, Baal demonstrated its experience in delivering revolutionary, high-end inside design options tailor-made to boost key areas throughout the resort.
The collaboration with One&Solely Za’abeel started in 2017. Baal labored intently with their group to make sure that every design component aligned seamlessly with the evolving imaginative and prescient of the resort as development progressed. From visitor rooms to the pool space, restaurant, and assembly rooms, the mission’s focus was on creating bespoke gadgets that mirrored and complemented the easy magnificence of each the tower and the resort—all whereas guaranteeing each bit maintained its performance.
Impressed by the idea of shadows discovered within the resort’s visitor rooms, Baal prolonged this concept by creating minimalist items with timeless colors which are concurrent but silent. This was achieved by adhering to the core idea: each merchandise should forged its personal shadow. To realize this impact, the designs have been elevated by making the bottom of every piece smaller than its sides, giving the impression that the gadgets have been floating and casting refined drop shadows on the surfaces beneath them.
The designs characteristic easy geometric types of their structural traits. Stripped of any ornamentation, the items are supposed to enhance the tower’s interlocking, geometric presence throughout the Dubai cityscape. Moreover, the gadgets embody double-sided padding, with some items incorporating a mix of two or extra supplies, mixed in a harmonious and complementary method.
A core pillar to this mission and to Baal’s legacy is sustainability. Every design was created with eco-consciousness in thoughts—from biodegradable packaging to merchandise comprised of recycled wooden and eco-friendly adhesives, with no use of virgin supplies.
“So far as sustainability is worried, particularly for this mission, we packed every thing in bio compostable and biodegradable supplies. We even used shredded paper in packaging. As for the manufacturing methods of the gadgets, we used eco-friendly supplies reflecting a singular story behind every merchandise. Not a single card we used inside our gadgets was virgin. It was all recycled. The wooden was recycled, the glue was eco-friendly and the fabric was microfibre, which was eco-friendly as nicely. No plastic, no virgin supplies.” -Khajak Krikorian MD
